Snow Much Fun

I can't blame anyone but myself for forgetting to post about the newest kit from Designs by Snowlady & The Scrappy Kat, Snow Much Fun. After all I've been having too much fun with the holidays & many things have slipped my mind! With all the snow we've gotten over the past several days, this is going to be a kit that will be quite useful, there are tons of great papers & lots of wonderful snow themed elements. I even used the kit to make the gifts we gave to our boys' teachers & bus drivers. It's very versatile so check it out!

December Build A Kits

*facepalm* I cannot believe I totally spaced on posting about the December Build A Kits because they are so cool! This month the theme was World Traveler, very appropriate for the winter season when many of us are traveling around to see family & friends. Before I show off some of the products, let me remind everyone to use the coupon code DECBAK_BUY3_SAVE50% when you purchase 3 or more BAK at once.

Let's start off with my parts, I made some road trip themed templates that could work with just about any type of trip. I really loved making the highway sign templates! I've made them in 12x12, 8.5x11 & 11x8.5 sizes, as always the download includes TIF, PSD, PAGE, PNG, & JPG files.

Here's two layouts I made with them, I used several different BAKs for the one on the left including Road Trip by Scraps by Missy, World Traveler Papers by Ponytails Designs and Making Tracks & Oh The Places You Won't Go by Leaving a Legacy Designs.

For the layout on the right, I used a picture my Mom took on my parent's recent trip to France & I used the lovely Paris themed kit, A Fine Paris Night for the rest of the layout.

I loved the idea of a Paris themed kit so much that I decided to make a template of France to go along with the kit! I only have this available in 12x12 & 8.5x11 sizes as the country didn't translate well into a horizontal layout.

Here are some more pictures from my parent's trip, I just had to include the picture of my Dad chugging the bottle of wine & my Mom next to the Manneken-Pis which is actually in Brussels (they made a side trip). I mean how could I not with such funny pictures?!? I went to France (& Germany) way back in 1999 so I'm going to need to get those pictures scanned in so I can use this template as well.

On this layout I used elements from a bunch of different kits including A Fine Paris Night by Created by Christin Thomas, Bon Voyage by Queen Bee Scraps, Fasten Your Seatbelt by Build A Memory, Oh The Places You Won't Go by Leaving a Legacy Designs & The Big Apple by HD Creations. I am seriously in love with all of these BAKs, you really have to check them out!

Santa's Little Helper

How many of you have started the fun Elf on the Shelf tradition? We did & my boys are just loving finding our Elf each morning; OK, so the first morning was a bust but after that they have had fun! Only problem is I can't get them to pick a name other than "Elf", perhaps we'll leave the naming until next year.

To help you scrap all your Elf pictures, B2N2 Scraps & HD Creations have teamed up to make the cute kit, Santa’s Little Helper. While it is elf themed, this kit would be great for any of your Christmas pictures with all the fun papers & elements that are included. Right now you can pick up  the kit, quick page set, & word art for 30% & there just might be a limited time freebie hanging out in the store for you! And I know that Heather has a little freebie up on her Facebook page so go check it out! Please note that the kit is the same whether you pick it up in Becky or Heather's store.

Here's our Elf, we haven't gotten very creative with him yet since both my husband & I have been sick but if you're looking for ideas Pinterest is the place to go!

Boyish Charm

I'm always excited to work with a boy themed kit, I think boys are too often overlooked in scrapbooking! Lucky for me, Becky of B2N2 Scraps has made a lot of boy themed kits & I love her newest one, Boyish Charm. Full of greens, blues, greys & lots of boy-centric elements, this is a great kit to have for any proud mom of boys. The kit & quick page set are on sale this weekend for 30% off, enjoy!

Hello Mr. Snowbird by The Scrappy Kat

My boys are eagerly awaiting the first snowfall in our area & while I'm not as thrilled about snow coming, I do love the new kit from The Scrappy Kat. Hello Mr. Snowbird is full of cute little winter birds, elements & trees that can get even me in the mood to welcome snow!
