Family Night In

Does your family do game nights each week? Or are you like my family who has serious euchre competitions each time they get together? Either way, check out the new collaboration Family Night In from Digi-designs by Nicole & The Scrappy Kat. It's just the kit you need to scrap all those crazy game nights or nights hanging out in front of the TV. Right now the kit & quick page set are on sale for 30% off the first week only. Now is the time to grab it!

I used the kit to scrap some of our fun with electronics, love how my eldest is always playing his Leapster upside down.

If you can't tell just why I scrapped a screenshot from The Simpsons Tapped Out game (it is kinda small) here's a better look. ROTFL!! It's from my husband's game & he noticed that the Evil Talking Krusty Doll was getting close to Mayor Quimby so he waited until just the right time to grab a screenshot. Could not resist scrapping it!

Celebrate ... The Pines!

Having a little too much fun combining the titles of the two kits I have to show off today, guess I need more excitement in my life! If you've had a lot of excitement from some great New Year's parties then you'll want to pick up the new kit Celebrate from B2N2 Scraps to scrap all those pictures. With lots of fun elements, tons of glitter & a great color scheme, this kit can be used for all sorts of different party pictures.

The other kit I have to show off is The Pines from The Scrappy Kat, part of the January BAK collection. What makes this month unique is that the designers picked their own monochromatic color scheme for their parts. Kat chose a green color scheme to scrap all the pictures of the pine trees in her yard, love all the cute tree elements! Don't forget to check out the rest of the January BAK collection & use the code JANBAK_BUY3_SAVE50% if you purchase 3 or more pieces to save 50%!

O Christmas Tree ... Shopping!

I'm attempting to get photos from 2012 scrapped but it's hard when the kiddos are home all day, yea for school starting back up on Monday! I have two cute products to show off today, one is my new template set O Christmas Tree & the other is the kit Tree Shopping from Designs by Snowlady. You might recognize the templates as various freebies that I gave out in December but now they've been quality checked & have the same color scheme; I'm kinda OCD about that.

You may have seen the advent style tree on the Stuff to Scrap blog as I designed it to reveal each day of our Countdown to Christmas freebies. Loved how it turned out & of course the freebies were so much fun to collect!

I used the kit Tree Shopping from Designs by Snowlady for another one of the templates, while we don't get a real tree (the smell of pine makes me sneeze, no clue why) the kit papers were just what I needed to scrap a photo of my youngest twin's homework.

Even though Ian & Jake are in preschool, Jake's class still has weekly homework & a few weeks ago Jake's homework was to decorate a paper tree. I just couldn't get him interested in doing the homework until he started watching me design the last tree in the O Christmas Tree set. That's when Jake wanted to try & copy what I was making in Photoshop onto his tree, it was way too cute & at least his homework got done. Love how my template & his tree turned out!

Visions of Sugarplums

Did anyone else see those pink Christmas trees at Target? Boy that was hard explaining to my boys! But if you love the thought of a a different color scheme for Christmas, then the new kit Visions of Sugarplums from B2N2 Scraps is right up your alley. A non-traditional color scheme with fun elements make this a great kit for all your not-so-traditional photos!
