Busy Builders by The Scrappy Kat

Do you know the pain of stepping on a stray brick while walking across your living room carpet? If so, your house must be full of Legos & you are sure to have several masterpieces & master builders to scrap! Busy Builder is a new Lego inspired kit from The Scrappy Kat that is just what you need for all your block building photos.

My boys haven't progressed past Duplos yet but a few years ago they got to play with the remains of their uncle's Lego stash that my Mom still had. They had fun but it was a challenge to keep them from trying to eat the blocks!

Got Me Puzzled by B2N2 Scraps & DoubleTrouble Scraps

I'm very excited to show off this new kit from B2N2 Scraps because I made some templates to go along with it!

Got Me Puzzled is just what you need for your puzzle crazy family member; the kit includes jigsaw puzzle pieces, crossword puzzle word art, word search word art, papers that look like mazes & sudoku puzzles. All of this is done in a beautiful color palette that you can use to scrap any picture! Of course Becky's entire store is on sale for 40% off until July 31st so check out what else you can snag at a great price.

I had a lot of fun making the templates, Puzzled, even though I can't usually find my way out of a maze even if I tried. My brother actually got lost in a hedge maze when we were younger, he hates 'em now! You can snag this set for 30% off until Sunday, July 29th.

Here's my layouts using the templates, I just love all the different papers Becky included in the kit to
make the puzzle pieces.

And here some layouts that the other ladies on Becky's CT graciously did for me. Love them!

Mad Tweets by Flower Scraps

When I saw the latest kit from Flower Scraps, I just knew I had to have it. After all the kit Mad Tweets is inspired by Angry Birds & I have a couple of Angry Bird addicts in my home! Ok, we're all addicts, I admit it. I snagged the whole lot which is the kit, a set of Bottlecaps, some Messy Stamps, a Solid paper set, a set of Stackers & fun Word Art. This is seriously a super cool kit & just perfect for what I needed it for.

This is the latest attempt to get our youngest twin Jake to use the potty. As you can see I made a little chart/jail where all the Angry Bird plush toys he's lost are in "jail" (AKA my husband's closet) on the left while all of the birds that are currently free are on the left. Jake earns back birds by doing his duty (heh) & of course the goal is to get all the birds over into freedom.

I used my new laminator to make the chart more sturdy, then I snagged jpgs from the 'net of all the birds Jake has. Those were laminated, cut out & had Velcro attached to their backs so we can move the birds from jail to freedom (or vice versa) easily. I think it turned out great & here's hoping it does the trick!

Playful Ponies by Scrappin' Serenity

I never thought I would have a need for a kit with a My Little Pony theme but a few weeks ago my boys discovered the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic TV show & are now obsessed with all things that have to do with My Little Pony. Seriously I got a My Little Pony sticker book & you would have thought that I was offering them a solution for all their problems with how fiercely they fought over it. Yes, I got a second sticker book!

If you've got a little one who's as obsessed as my boys, check out this cute kit from Scrappin' Serenity called Playful Ponies. It is just the kit you'll need to scrap all those pictures of pony play time or just some magical moments.

Here's Ian playing with his cousin's My Little Pony dolls, I had to pry them out of his hands before we could leave that day!

Dive into the 4th of July by The Scrappy Kat & Mommy Me Time Scrapper

Just in time to celebrate freedom, Mommy Me Time Scrapper & The Scrappy Kat have released Dive into 4th of July! This kit is jam packed with everything you'll need to scrap all those parade, BBQ & firework pictures. Even better, this is the same color palette that was used for Dive into Summer so you can mix & match the kits!

I've scrapped most of my 4th of July pictures from years past but forgot about this yummy treat I made last year.

Summer is a time to get outdoors & enjoy all the great activities there are to do. And that's just what the July Bits N Pieces over at Scraps N Pieces are all about! Kelly of Just For Fun Designs is celebrating all the fun you can have at the lake during the summer with her paper & element packs Fun at the Lake. Remember that all the Bits N Pieces are on sale for $1.00 until July 7th!

Despite the almost constant rain around here, I did manage to take my boys to Lake Michigan last Friday for some beach fun. Only problem is I'm not a fan of the sand!
